Hire me!

I'd love to consult on your robotics projects! I am a passionate software (and sometimes hardware) engineer with a strong background in robotics, computer vision, and human-robot interaction (HRI). My primary interests are in developing assistive technology that blends software, hardware, and human factors to help make robots accessible to all.

I have experience in the full software and hardware stacks for manipulators and mobile robots. My core technical skills are in software development in ROS/ROS2, mainly in Python but sometimes in C++. I have a particular focus in computer vision, having implemented a projection-mapped spatial augmented reality system used across several projects. Working in research, I routinely work with statitistcal models to extract insights from large datasets. I also have experience with rapid prototyping using a huge variety of different technologies, with skills in CAD, electronics, and fabrication.

I have a number of peer-reviewed publications in the field of HRI on the topic of assistive technology, UI design, and augmented reality. Over my time working UMass Lowell's HRI Lab, I have had the opportunity to lead a team conducting human subjects testing.

Previously I was an intern at Rethink Robotics, where I designed and deployed custom software and electronics for prototype manipulators and industrial control devices. I also developed automation tools for deploying network infrastructure.
